D3baseball.com Top 25 poll and No. 7 in the last ABCA national poll. Wisconsin-Whitewater raised its early-season record to 6-1 here Saturday morning as it defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 7-2, in the Scarlet Raptors' final game at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.
The Scarlet Raptors finished their stellar trip to Florida with a 6-3 record in nine games against some of the best teams in the country. They return home with a 7-5 record overall, heading into a 4 p.m. game at Susquehanna University Wednesday.
Whitewater scored all the runs it needed with three in the bottom of the first inning. Junior centerfielder
Brett Krause (Menomonee Falls, WI/Menomonee Falls) hit a two-run triple and scored on a throwing error. Krause went 3-for-4 with one run scored and two RBIs to lead the Warhawks' 12-hit attack.

Matthew Stoots (Browns Mills, NJ/Pemberton) hit a leadoff single, Cerami singled and Gerold was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Sophomore centerfielder
Peter Farlow (Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) delivered a sacrifice fly to plate Stoots.
Cerami and Farlow had two hits apiece to account for four of the Raptors' six hits against four Wisconsin-Whitewater pitchers. Both players went 2-for-3, with Cerami scoring once and Farlow collecting one RBI.
