CAMDEN, N.J. (Nov. 13, 2018) – Junior guard
Fatimah Williams scored a career-high 21 points to lead four Rutgers University-Camden players in double figures as the Scarlet Raptors rolled past Penn State-Schuylkill, 84-29, in a non-conference game here Tuesday.
The Raptors opened up a 27-7 first-quarter lead and were never threatened as they raised their record to 2-0. The Nittany Lions fell to 0-2.
Sophomore guard
Jordan Harbaugh finished with 19 points, one below her career high, while setting a career high with seven rebounds. A pair of freshmen,
Wykira Johnson-Kelly and
Tamara Johnson, also scored in double figures. Johnson-Kelly, who was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday, notched 16 points and added four assists, while Johnson scored 11 and also had four assists.
Williams, whose previous career high was 20 points against Pitt-Bradford on Nov. 18, 2016, also collected four assists. The Scarlet Raptors dished off 22 assists as a team, led by sophomore guard
Shane Holmes, with five.
By halftime, Harbaugh had 11 points, while Williams and Johnson-Kelly owned nine apiece, staking the Scarlet Raptors to a 38-17 lead.
Rutgers-Camden took advantage of 33 Schuylkill turnovers, held a 40-28 lead off the boards and canned 10 three-pointers (in 26 attempts) on the way to its win.

Gabby Greene each collected four steals. Greene added nine points to raise her career total to 977 points.
Alyssa Gerber had a double-double for the Nittany Lions, collecting 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Morgan Edge added 10 points, aided by 8-for-10 shooting from the foul line.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action this weekend at Neumann University's Tip-Off Tournament. The Raptors play Western New England University in their first game on Saturday at 4 p.m. The consolation and championship games will be held Sunday at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
