CAMDEN, N.J. (Jan. 19, 2022) – The Stockton University men's basketball team had first-half runs of 11 and nine points as it defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 73-50, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Wednesday night.
The victory lifts the Ospreys to 13-3 overall and 8-2 in the conference, while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 0-13 and 0-10.
Stockton has won 28 straight games against Rutgers-Camden and leads the all-time series, 82-8.

Anthony Orzechowski with 13:23 remaining in the half. One minute later, Stockton junior forward Alan Glover hit a pair of foul shots, putting the Ospreys ahead for good and sparking a nine-point run.

Keyshawn Peterson ended that run and made it a 17-11 game, but the Ospreys rattled off the next 11 points. By halftime, Stockton held a 41-23 advantage and stretched its lead to as many as 33 points (63-30) late in the game.
Junior guard DJ Campbell scored 17 points to pace 12 players in the scoring column for the Ospreys. Junior guard Milo De Los Santos added 11 points. Campbell also had a game-high five steals.

Gavin Henry paced the Scarlet Raptors with a game-high 18 points.
Stockton shot 29-for-61 (47.5 percent) from the floor, while Rutgers-Camden went 16-for-44 (36.4). The Ospreys also held a 34-30 edge off the boards.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action Saturday when it hosts New Jersey City University in a 3 p.m. NJAC game.
