CAMDEN, N.J. (Feb. 7, 2023) – When the Rutgers University-Camden basketball programs close out their home schedule with a pair of games Wednesday night, the campus will also tip off a new tradition.
Wednesday's basketball doubleheaders will feature the Scarlet Raptors Rally, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Athletics and Fitness Center. The event will combine free food, entertainment and prizes along with a pair of New Jersey Athletic Conference basketball games between the men's and women's teams from Rutgers-Camden and Kean University. The women's game begins at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
The games are the final home contests of the year for the Scarlet Raptors, who close their season with NJAC road games at William Paterson University Saturday and at New Jersey City University Feb. 15.
Among the prizes available will be the chance to win a cap & gown, an individual parking spot in lot 12, a Rutgers Spirit Basket and a $200 E gift card.
