GALLOWAY, N.J. (Oct. 12, 2024) – Sophomore forward Ernst Louisius scored a goal in the 25th minute and that was all the Stockton University men's soccer team needed as it edged Rutgers University-Camden, 1-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday.
The loss leaves the Scarlet Raptors with a 5-5-4 record overall and a 1-1-2 mark in NJAC play. Stockton stands at 5-4-4 and 2-1-1.
Louisius notched his goal at 24:33 on a shot from the top of the box to the far post's bottom corner. He was assisted by junior midfielder Uche Wokocha.
Both teams managed to launch 10 shots, but the Ospreys had a 5-4 edge in shots on goal. Rutgers-Camden held a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks, with both teams getting five corner kicks in the second half.

Brandon Valeri both had three shots for the Scarlet Raptors, including a team-leading two on goal for Jovel-Castro. Louisius had five shots for the Ospreys, including four on goal.

Rutgers-Camden returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts The College of New Jersey in a 7 p.m. NJAC game.
