Scarlet Raptor golfers finish fourth at United East Preview

HARRISBURG, Penn. (Oct. 2, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden golf team got a sneak peek at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course here Thursday, a place where the Scarlet Raptors will return next spring when they play for the United East Conference championship.
 
This time around the young Rutgers-Camden team finished fourth out of eight teams at the United East Preview, posting a 30-over par team score of 318 on the Par 72, 7,121-yard course.
 
Penn College captured the event with a 308, led by Gunner Redmond, who shot an even-par 72.
 
Scarlet Raptor senior Pearse Lee tied for ninth place in the 47-man event, carding a round of 78. A trio of Scarlet Raptors, junior Santino Leone, senior Reid Walker and sophomore Andrew Slattery, tied for 16th place, all shooting an 80.
 
Freshman Noah Eichenbaum tied for 29th with an 86, and senior Ryan Macuch tied for 31st with an 87.
 
The Scarlet Raptors will be back in action for the two-day Lancaster Bible Fall Invitational, which will be held Oct. 13-14 at the Bent Creek Country Club in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
