CAMDEN, NJ (Nov. 11, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden men's basketball team outscored Penn State-Lehigh Valley, 25-17, over the final 12 minutes of its game here Tuesday and went on to defeat the Nittany Lions, 74-67, in a non-conference game.
The win lifts the Scarlet Raptors to 2-0 on the young season, while the Nittany Lions fall to 1-2.

After Rutgers-Camden built a 40-34 halftime lead, PSU-Lehigh Valley rallied to take a pair of one-point leads in the second half, with the last one coming on a layup by sophomore guard Kyle John, making the score 50-49. Rutgers-Camden regained the lead with a pair of foul shots by sophomore guard
Ryan Senft with 12:01 remaining, starting a nine-point run to open up the game. Senft had six points in the run on his way to a game-high 20 points.
The closest the Nittany Lions came after that run was five points, on two occasions.
Senft added nine rebounds to tie Penn State's John for game-high honors.

Chase Ambrosius added 15 points for the Scarlet Raptors, with Ambrosius notching all his points on 5-for-8 shooting from three-point range. Freshman guard/forward
Gardy Etienne added 11 points for the Scarlet Raptors.
Downs and Senft collected five and four steals, respectively.
Freshman guard Emmanuel Kenyi and senior guard/forward CJ Santos scored 19 points, respectively, for the Nittany Lions, while John added 18.
Rutgers-Camden shot 25-for-57 from the floor (43.9 percent) and 17-for-28 from the foul line (60.7), while PSU-Lehigh Valley went 23-for-53 (43.4) from the floor and 13-for-20 from the foul line (65.0). Both teams had 35 rebounds.
Rutgers-Camden will play in a tournament in Amherst, Massachusetts on Friday and Saturday. The Scarlet Raptors open play against host Amherst College on Friday at 5 p.m.
