CAMDEN, N.J. (Nov. 15, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's basketball team won its second straight game at the Scarlet Raptors Classic here Saturday night, surviving a late-game scare to edge FDU-Florham, 59-52.
In the first game of the night, Baruch College defeated Rutgers University-Newark, 79-63.
Rutgers-Camden, which defeated Baruch on Friday night, returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Gwynedd Mercy University at 6 p.m.
Baruch 79, Rutgers-Newark 63
The Bearcats (1-4) won their first game of the season by outscoring the Scarlet Raiders (0-3), 24-12, in the second quarter to break a 19-19 tie.
Senior forward D'Andre McRae led four Baruch players in double figures with 25 points and added 14 rebounds to complete a double-double. Freshman guard Lola De Luka added 15 points, sophomore forward Lillianna Morales netted 13 and sophomore guard Lola Idir scored 11 for the Bearcats. Idir also dished out four assists.
Senior guard Quanajah Felder scored a game-high 27 points to pace Rutgers-Newark.
Rutgers-Camden 59, FDU-Florham 52
The Scarlet Raptors survived a scare to hand FDU-Florham (3-1) its first loss of the season and even their record at 2-2.
After leading by as many as 15 points (23-8) midway through the second quarter, the Raptors saw the Devils inch back into the game and come within one point (53-52) with just under two minutes remaining in the game. FDU-Florham threatened to take the lead, but missed both ends of a pair of foul shots and Rutgers-Camden scored the final six points to close out the game. Sophomore forward

Rutgers-Camden won the game at the foul line, shooting 13-for-17 from the charity stripe, while FDU-Florham was only 7-for-21 from the line.
Toledo had six points in the opening quarter as the Scarlet Raptors raced to a 17-8 lead. They led by as many as 13 points (17-4) in the opening 10 minutes.
Toledo and Goodwine scored 11 points apiece for the Scarlet Raptors, while freshman guard
Tamyia Collier netted 10. Edmundo added nine points and joined junior guard/forward
Tamea El with a team-high total of eight rebounds apiece. Collier added seven boards and four steals, while Edmundo blocked six shots.
FDU-Florham freshman guard/forward My'Shayla Clancy notched a game-high 14 points. Devils freshman guard/forward Christina Sullivan and sophomore center/forward Bianca Sode both had 10 rebounds to tie for game-high honors.
Rutgers-Camden shot 20-for-50 (40.0 percent) from the floor and FDU-Florham shot 22-for-68 (32.4). The Devils held a 48-38 advantage off the boards.
