CAMDEN, N.J. (Dec. 10, 2025) – The College of New Jersey men's basketball team used its huge height advantage to dominate Rutgers University-Camden off the boards and the Lions went on to post a 67-36 victory in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Wednesday night.
TCNJ, which played three players who were 6-7 and one who was 6-6, in addition to five more who were between 6-3 and 6-5, held a 52-27 rebounding advantage as it raised its record to 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the NJAC.
Rutgers-Camden falls to 6-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
The Lions have won their last 22 games against Rutgers-Camden and lead the all-time series, 80-18.
TCNJ led all the way, building leads as large as 16 points in the first half (31-15 and 31-17) before taking a 33-22 lead into halftime. The Lions held leads as large as 32 points (66-34 and 67-35) in the second half as they placed 11 players in the scoring column, led by senior guard Jonathan Okocha and junior guard David Alexandre, who scored 18 and 12 points, respectively. Mattew Solomon, a 6-7 senior forward, hauled down a game-high 11 rebounds, while adding eight points.

The Lions shot 27-for-58 (46.6 percent) from the floor, including 8-for-21 from three-point range. The Scarlet Raptors shot 13-for-53 (24.5) from the floor and 2-for-23 (8.7) from three-point range.
Rutgers-Camden plays its final game before the holiday break on Saturday. The Scarlet Raptors travel to Montclair State University to take on the Red Hawks in a 3 p.m. NJAC game. Montclair State is ranked ninth nationally in this week's D3hoops.com poll.
