BALTIMORE, Maryland (May 17, 2025) – The magic run and record-setting season ended here Saturday night for the Rutgers University-Camden baseball team.
After dropping into the losers' bracket final earlier in the day with a loss to host Johns Hopkins University, the Scarlet Raptors were eliminated by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, 10-0, at the NCAA Division III Baltimore Regional. Rensselaer (31-15), which lost to the Scarlet Raptors in its first game on Friday, advanced to Sunday's finals. It will need to defeat Johns Hopkins twice to win the regional tournament.
Rutgers-Camden, which won its program-first New Jersey Athletic Conference title and recorded only the third 30-win season in its history, closed the campaign at 30-17.
