CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 20, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's soccer team played to its fourth 0-0 tie of the season here Saturday in a non-conference deadlock with Hood College.
The Scarlet Raptors stand at 1-2-4 through their first seven games, while the Blazers are 2-4-1.
In the first meeting ever between the two teams, Rutgers-Camden held a 12-5 advantage in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks, but the Scarlet Raptors were blanked for the fifth time this season. Hood freshman goalie Ashley Stine made nine saves, while Raptor freshman goalie
Giselle Lizardi notched one save while collecting her fourth shutout of the season.
Rutgers-Camden had several scoring chances, while the Blazers' best chance came late in the first half on a long shot off the crossbar by senior Rachael Low.
The Scarlet Raptors play a 7 p.m. game at Delaware Valley University on Wednesday.
