KENILWORTH, N.J. (Sept. 25, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden golf team shot its top score of the fall semester and finished second out of six teams at the Cougar Invitational here Thursday.
The Cougar Invitational was held at the Par 71, 6,855-yard Galloping Hill Golf Course, hosted by Kean University.
Host Kean University's A team won the event with a 297 score, followed by Rutgers-Camden with a 307. William Paterson University finished third with a 324 score.
Kean's Sean Dunn was the medalist with an even-par 71 in a field of 38 golfers.
The Raptors' 4-1 record at the Cougar Invitational raised their season mark to 21-6.
Junior
Santino Leone paced the Scarlet Raptors with a round of 1-over par 72 to finish second overall, while senior
Reid Walker finished second on the Raptors and tied for fourth overall with a 76. Senior
Pearse Lee carded a 78 to finish tied for seventh place, freshman
Noah Eichenbaum shot an 81 to tie for 11th place and sophomore
Andrew Slattery shot an 83, tying for 17th.
The Scarlet Raptors will be back in action on Thursday, October 2, when they compete in the United East Preview at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
