CAMDEN, N.J. (Jan. 24, 2026) – Sophomore forward
Courtney Edmundo scored a career-high 31 points and passed the 500-point milestone for her career as the Rutgers University-Camden women's basketball team defeated Ramapo College, 82-59, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game here Saturday.
Rutgers-Camden improved to 10-8 overall, marking its first double-digit win season since going 12-13 during the 2019-20 campaign. The Scarlet Raptors improved to 7-4 in the NJAC, locked in a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference.
Ramapo fell to 6-12 overall and 1-10 in the conference with its fifth straight loss.
Rutgers-Camden leads the all-time series, 46-28, against Ramapo and has won the last four head-to-head games.
After five early lead changes, the Scarlet Raptors took the lead for good late in the first quarter, 20-19, on a layup by sophomore guard
Hope Goodwine. They held a 23-21 edge at the end of the period and built their lead to 40-33 by halftime.
Rutgers-Camden held a pair of 23-point leads in the second half at 71-48 and the final score.
Edmundo, who needed only six points entering the game to reach her career 500 milestone, blew past that mark with 31 points, aided by 9-for-12 shooting from the floor, including 3-for-4 on three-point attempts, and a stellar 10-for-11 from the foul line. She also added a game-high 12 rebounds to record her ninth double-double of the season and her fourth in a row. She also added three blocked shots and a game-high five assists.
Goodwine added 13 points, three steals and three assists, while senior guard
Tireya Wyatt collected 11 points.

Zairra Galloway collected seven rebounds., with Galloway adding three steals.
Ramapo received 19 points from freshman guard Denay Jones, while freshman forward Vanessa Kohler canned 14 points and sophomore forward Emma Cartwright had 11 points and a game-high four blocked shots. Junior guard Lauren Flatt collected nine points, a team-high three assists and tied Jones for team-high honors with seven rebounds.
Rutgers-Camden shot 26-for-67 (38.8 percent) from the floor, including 9-for-25 (36.0) from three-point range and 21-for-27 (77.8) from the foul line.
Ramapo shot 19-for-49 (38.8) from the floor (2-for-5, 40.0 percent from three-point range) and 19-for-24 (79.2) from the line. The Roadrunners held a 40-37 edge off the boards.
Rutgers-Camden returns to NJAC action on Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. game at Rowan University.
