EWING, N.J. (Feb. 26, 2026) – The last time the Rutgers University-Camden women's basketball team played a New Jersey Athletic Conference playoff game at The College of New Jersey, the Scarlet Raptors won their lone NJAC title in 2003.
Their visit to TCNJ for an NJAC semifinal game here Thursday night didn't have the same happy ending.
The second-seeded Lions outscored the sixth-seeded Scarlet Raptors, 26-13, in the second quarter and went on to eliminate Rutgers-Camden from the NJAC playoffs, 79-58.
Rutgers-Camden falls to 14-13 and will wait until Monday to see if it is selected for a berth in the ECAC playoffs.
TCNJ, 16-10, advances to the NJAC championship game, where it will play a 1 p.m. contest on Sunday at top-seeded William Paterson University.
The Lions scored the first seven points of the game and led all the way as they won the rubber match of the season against the Scarlet Raptors. The teams split their two regular-season contests.
Rutgers-Camden never came closer than five points (14-9 after one quarter and 17-12 in the second quarter) the rest of the way. By halftime, TCNJ held a 40-22 lead and the Lions led by as many as 30 points (73-43) in the fourth quarter.
Sophomore guard Amanda Baylock paced TCNJ with 15 points, while both senior guard Katie Fricker and sophomore guard Brooke McFadden tallied 13 points. Fricker added 11 rebounds for a double-double.
Baylock and junior guard Grace Kowalski dished off four assists apiece, while both Fricker and McFadden had three assists.

Zairra Galloway tallied 11 points apiece. Galloway's 11 points tied her career high set against Rutgers-Newark on Nov. 25.

Mya Patino both scored nine points. Edmundo's scoring output hiked her career total to 701 points, while her game-high 16 rebounds gave her 505 career boards. She also added a game-high four steals and tied for game-high honors with four assists.
TCNJ shot 29-for-66 from the floor (43.9 percent), including 10-for-30 (33.3) from three-point range. The Lions shot 11-for-14 from the foul line (78.6) and held a 40-36 edge off the boards.
Rutgers-Camden shot 21-for-59 (35.6) from the floor, including 6-for-23 (26.1) from beyond the arc. The Scarlet Raptors were 10-for-15 (66.7) from the foul line, including a perfect 6-for-6 by Collier.
