Leone leads Scarlet Raptors to win at RU-Camden Spring Invitational

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (April 13, 2026) – The Rutgers University-Camden golf team is heating up with the weather, and just in time as the United East Conference Championships approach on April 24-25.
 
Junior Santino Leone shot a 4-over par 74 to earn medalist honors as the Scarlet Raptors won their annual RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational with a 328 score here Monday.
 
The four-team invitational was held at the Par 70, 6,250-yard Pennsauken Country Club.
 
Stockton University finished second (334), followed by Yeshiva University (345) and Montclair State University (363).
 
Rutgers-Camden has won two of its last three invitationals and finished second in the other one.
 
Also accounting for the Scarlet Raptors' team score were senior Reid Walker (83), sophomore Andrew Slattery (85) and freshman Nick Seaver (86). Competing as individuals were senior Ryan Macuch, who finished fourth overall out of 24 golfers with a 79, sophomore Jack Sheehan and freshman Noah Eichenbaum.
 
Rutgers-Camden has two invitationals remaining before the United East Championships. On Friday, the Raptors play at the Kean Invitational, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth. They will compete in the two-day F&M Spring Invitational on Sunday and Monday.
