CAMDEN, N.J. (April 14, 2026) – The Rutgers University-Camden softball team had little to show for its doubleheader battle against national power Rowan University here Tuesday.
The Profs hurled shutouts in both games, winning the opener, 14-0, in five innings on the eight-run mercy rule and then no-hitting the Scarlet Raptors, 4-0, in the nightcap.
Rowan, which jumped three spots to #20 in Tuesday's National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III poll, improved to 25-7 overall and 10-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Profs hiked their current winning streak to eight games and have now won 31 straight games against Rutgers-Camden, dating back to the Scarlet Raptors' last win in the series in the opener of a 2011 doubleheader.
Rutgers-Camden fell to 8-16 overall and 3-9 in NJAC play.
The Scarlet Raptors play a 1 p.m. NJAC doubleheader at Montclair State University on Saturday.

The game was the 100th career contest for Scarlet Raptor second baseman
Gianna Bauer, who became the 28th player in program history to reach the century mark in games played. Bauer, who entered the doubleheader with 90 career hits, had a sacrifice in the contest.
