OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Chloe Ludwick's goal with just 1:27 in the contest, on an assist from Brianne Reeves, was the game-winner as Rutgers-Camden defeated Stevenson 2-1 in women's soccer. It was the season opener for both squads.

The goal came at the end of a two-minute sequence where the Scarlet Raptors had three shots on goal, with

Ludwick's shot getting past Mustang goalkeeper Isabella Serano.

Both teams had 12 shots on the night, with RUC getting nine on goal. Zayla Salas had a goal in the 36^th minute to give the Scarlet Raptors an early 1-0 lead.

Stevenson would tie it at 1-all when Nyla Behram scored in the 56^th minute unassisted.

Giselle Lizardi made two saves on the night for the Scarlet Raptors, who will take on Catholic on Saturday at 3 p.m.
