CAMDEN, N.J. – Rutgers-Camden men's soccer freshman goalkeeper Joe Zubert was named the NJAC men's soccer Rookie of the Year by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

In his lone start of the week against Alvernia, Zubert posted his second clean sheet of the season, with a career-high eight saves in a 1-0 win at home against Alvernia. He also posted a clean sheet in a win over Arcadia back on September 8.

For the season, Zubert has 23 saves in six matches.

Rutgers-Camden opens NJAC play on Wednesday at Stockton.
