CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Rutgers-Camden women's volleyball team raced to 2-0 on the young season, winning its second match in as many nights with a 3-0 win over Immaculata University at DeSales University.
Set scores were 25-23, 25-18, and 25-20.
The Scarlet Raptors were led by
Sofia Granieri and
Asha Pensa Johnson, who had ten kills each, while
Nissi Wadieh added six. Wadieh had five blocks, with
Gabby Gbolahan and
Jana Jovanovic each getting three.
JoAnna Andrews had 17 assists, with
Cassie Guim getting 16. Defensively,
Mia Owens had ten digs with
Madison Snelgrove getting eight.
The Scarlet Raptors will take on Penn College and host DeSales tomorrow.
