Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Sophomore Sean Sigall turned in an outstanding performance as the Rutgers-Camden golf team opened its fall season by finishing second out of 12 teams at the Moravian College Fall Invitational Thursday. The match was held at the Par 71 Southmoore Golf Course in Bath, Pennsylvania. Sigall finished second out of 59 golfers with a 2-over par 73, only losing medalist honors due to a match of cards on the back nine after tying Gettysburg’s Daniel Reiger with the low score of the day at 73. Reiger had a 35 on the back nine, while Sigall shot a 36. As a freshman, Sigall averaged 80.9 in seven rounds of intercollegiate competition and also earned a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during his first semester.
