Junior forward Skyler Diggs had a big week while leading the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer team to a 2-1 record and the Cialella Soccer Classic championship. Diggs notched three goals in the Raptors’ three games, including the game winners in a 1-0 overtime victory at Alvernia Wednesday and a 2-0 win over the College of Staten Island Saturday in their Cialella Soccer Classic opener Saturday. His performance over the weekend earned him honors as the Offensive MVP of the Cialella Soccer Classic. Diggs, who earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team honors during his sophomore season, leads the Scarlet Raptors in scoring this season with four goals and one assist for nine points, helping Rutgers-Camden start its season with a 4-1 record. For his three-year career, Diggs owns 20 goals and five assists for 45 points. Seven of those goals have been game winners.
