Junior Eric Cutry had a stellar week against a pair of powerful opponents from the New Jersey Athletic Conference, helping the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer team post a 1-0-1 mark and raise their overall record to 12-0-2. In a 2-1 overtime victory against Richard Stockton College on Oct. 9, Cutry played an outstanding game in the midfield and scored the Scarlet Raptors’ first goal. He switched to the back for an Oct. 12 battle against perennial power Montclair State and helped the Raptors play to a 0-0 double-overtime tie against the Red Hawks. The two games extended the Raptors’ unbeaten streak to 26 (21-0-5) over two years, tying them for 16th on the all-time NCAA Division III chart for consecutive games without a loss.
