Box Score CAMDEN, N.J. – The Rutgers University-Camden women's soccer team exploded for seven first-half goals, including two by freshman
Mandi Noll (Blackwood, NJ/Triton Regional), and went on to defeat Sarah Lawrence College, 8-0, in a non-conference Homecoming Day game here Saturday afternoon.

Rutgers-Camden rolled up a 24-0 advantage in shots and a 7-0 edge in corner kicks as it produced its most goals since an 8-0 victory over Cedar Crest College on Sept. 11, 2010. The eight goals are tied for the eighth-highest single-game amount in program history, while the Raptors' eight assists are tied for seventh all-time. With 24 points in the game, the Raptors also tied their seventh-highest single-game total in program history.
The Scarlet Raptors, who had seven goals on the season entering the game, scored the only tally they needed at 2:04 when senior midfielder
Dawn Dixon (Lumberton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) notched her first goal of the season following a throw-in from
Lindsay Russo (Mickleton, NJ/Kingsway Regional) to Noll, who fed Dixon in the box.
Noll made it a 2-0 contest at 5:22 when she fielded a chip into the box by sophomore midfielder
Tori Gerstenacker (Howell, NJ/Howell) that deflected off a back and walked in her second tally of the season.
Russo collected her second goal of the year at 12:15, and unassisted tally on a long shot from the far right flank into the left panel.
Noll tacked on her second goal 34 seconds later, assisted by Gerstenacker and junior midfielder
Rebecca Gougher (Galloway, NJ/Absegami). Gerstenacker, who had three assists and a goal on the day, notched her goal at 17:57 off a rebound following a save near the right post. Her three assists tied for fourth on the program's single-game charts, one behind a three-way tie for first place.
Freshman
Catherine Fiore (Oaklyn, NJ/Paul VI) scored her second goal of the season at 25:59 and senior
Camille Graham (Washington Township, NJ/Washington Township) added her second goal of the year at 29:30 to close out the first-half onslaught.
Rutgers-Camden took only three shots in the second half as it was content to pass the ball around. The Raptors notched one goal at 67:17 by sophomore back
Kelsey Tierney (Galloway, NJ/Absegami), assisted by Gerstenacker.
Overall, Noll had two goals and one assist and Gerstenacker one goal and three assists to each collect five points. Russo and Fiore both had a goal and an assist, while Dixon, Graham and Tierney added one goal apiece and Gougher had two assists.
The Scarlet Raptors split time in the net between all four goalies as seniors
Leighanna Milby (Blackwood, NJ/Highland Regional) and
Lauren West (Mantua, NJ/Clearview Regional) and freshmen
Chrissy Ambrozy (Haddon Township, NJ/Haddon Township) and
Angela Martorano (Gloucester Township, NJ/Triton Regional) combined for the team's fifth shutout of the season. None of the keepers made a save.
Senior
Tori Close (Greenwich, CT/Westtown School, PA) played the bulk of time in the Gryphons' goal, making eight saves and allowing all eight goals. Junior
Kaylen Dornan (San Diego, CA/High Tech High International) played the last 19:39 in goal for Sarah Lawrence, without making a save.
Sarah Lawrence College returns to action Monday with a 4:45 p.m. game at Medgar Evers College.
Rutgers-Camden hosts Moravian College in a 7 p.m. game Wednesday.
