After suffering a 5-0 home defeat against nationally-ranked TCNJ on Wednesday, the Scarlet Raptors played on the road here Saturday against the only team to beat the Lions this season – Montclair State. The Red Hawks, ranked No. 6 in the
D3soccer.com Top 25 and No. 10 in the NSCAA Division III poll, remained undefeated with a 3-0 victory over Rutgers-Camden.
Montclair State, which has allowed only one goal all season long, improves to 11-0 overall and 4-0 in the NJAC.
Rutgers-Camden, which has lost its last four games by shutout margins, falls to 3-7-1 and 1-4 in the conference.
Montclair State, which leads the all-time series, 15-0-1, has won its last 12 games against the Scarlet Raptors, with seven of the last eight games coming by shutout margins.
