Box Score MADISON, N.J. – One early goal was the deciding strike as the St. Joseph's College-Long Island women's soccer team edged Rutgers University-Camden, 1-0, here Sunday at the FDU Fall Classic.
The Golden Eagles scored only 51 seconds into the game and hung on to defeat the Scarlet Raptors, raising their record to 2-0.
Rutgers-Camden fell to 0-2 despite holding a 14-12 advantage in shots, including an 8-5 margin in the second half, and a 5-4 lead in corner kicks.
