Rutgers-Camden scored the only run Potts needed in the bottom of the first after sophomore third baseman Brett Tenuto (Audubon, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) drew a leadoff walk, stole second and advanced to third on an infield out. He scored on a sacrifice fly by senior rightfielder Adrian Gonzalez (Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken).

Two runs scored in the second on a RBI single by Holder and a run-scoring double by freshman second baseman Joe Brooks (Blackwood, NJ/Gloucester Catholic). The inning opened with a double by Bartholomew and a single by Romano, who both ended up scoring.

In the third, four hits and an error produced three more runs. Two came home on a single by Theckston, while Romano also singled home a run.

Gonzalez doubled home a run in the fifth, giving him seven RBIs in two days. He had five RBIs, including a grand slam, in the win over Worcester State.

In the sixth, junior first baseman Connor Hall (Delran, NJ/Delran) tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Bartholomew. The Raptors added a run in the seventh when Brooks walked, advanced to third on a pair of wild pitches and scored on a ground out by freshman leftfielder Doug Carter (Union, NJ/Union). They ended the contest on Holder's RBI single in the eighth.

Rutgers-Camden returns to action Thursday at 11 a.m. in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational with a game in Winter Haven. The Scarlet Raptors face Washington & Jefferson College of Washington, Pennsylvania.
