Rutgers-Camden, meanwhile, notched a pair of unearned runs in the first inning, sparked by a one-out single off the third base bag by sophomore second baseman Joe Sigismondi (Blackwood, NJ/Highland Regional). an outfield error put runners at second and third base, setting the table for RBI singles from Gonzalez and Hall.

Gonzalez, Hall and freshman shortstop Tim Holder (Sewell, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) each had two hits, with Gonzalez collecting three RBIs. Hall had one RBI and scored one run. He also notched 14 putouts at first base.
