Box Score CHESTERTOWN, Md. (Sept. 17, 2014) – For 110 minutes here Wednesday the Rutgers University-Camden women's soccer team threatened the Washington College goal, outshot the Shorewomen by a 15-5 margin and even had a goal in the second overtime called back due to a controversial handball call.
In the end, the Scarlet Raptors settled for a 0-0 tie with the Shorewomen in a non-conference game. The deadlock leaves Rutgers-Camden with a 2-4-1 record. Washington College is 2-2-1, with every one of their games being a shutout on one end or the other.
After a frustrating day of peppering the Washington goal, the Scarlet Raptors thought they had the game won in the second overtime on a header off a corner kick by senior midfielder

Neither team scored in the opening 45 minutes, despite the Scarlet Raptors holding a 6-3 advantage in shots and a 3-0 margin in corner kicks. Rutgers-Camden freshman goalie
Katie Gurba (Westampton, NJ/Holy Cross) had one save in the opening half, while Washington sophomore keeper
Melissa Barry (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) had two.
