CAMDEN, NJ - The College of Staten Island men's tennis team earned their 8
th win of the year with a victory over Rutgers-Camden. The Dolphins beat the Scarlet Raptors 7-to-2.
The men's team took one doubles match over the Dolphins.
Terry Long and
Lloyd Pearson, V lost 8-6 in the first spot.
Onkar Singh and
Joseph Tyrrell lost 8-0 as the No. 2 duo. In the third spot,
Geoffrey Bondad and
Jake Collette-Nippins won 8-3.
In singles action,
Lloyd Pearson, V lost 6-1, 6-2 in the first spot. At the No. 2 spot,
Terry Long lost 6-3, 6-1.
Zheng (Jason) Lin lost 6-1, 6-1 in the third spot. In the fourth spot,
Onkar Singh lost 6-4, 6-3.
Joseph Tyrrell lost 6-0, 6-2 in the fifth spot. In the sixth spot,
Geoffrey Bondad won 6-1, 6-0.
Rutgers-Camden (1-8, GNAC 0-3) will travel to Penn State Brandywine on Thursday, Apr. 23 at 3:00pm.
