Cory Kreamer (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) went 3-for-5 with two runs, a double, a home run and six RBIs and the Rutgers University-Camden baseball team drilled 14 hits, including three home runs, as the Scarlet Raptors defeated York College of Pennsylvania, 14-2, in a non-conference game here Wednesday afternoon.
Rutgers-Camden improves to 3-0, while York falls to 2-9.

Ray Taylor (Collingswood, NJ/Collingswood) reached on an error by the pitcher, loading the bases, Kreamer delivered a two-run single to left field. After a fielder's choice, junior catcher
Jon Theckston (Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) added an RBI single through the left side.

Chris Jones (Washington Township, NJ/Bishop Eustace Prep) sparked a six-run fifth inning with a one-out double to left-center. Junior designated hitter
Andujar Cedeno (Bronx, NY/Escuela Nueva Esperanza, DR) followed with a long home run to center field, the first homer as a Scarlet Raptor for the transfer from Bergen Community College.

Matt Goodman (Owing Mills, MD/Franklin), who was replaced by freshman
Bobby Kuehn (Downingtown, PA/Coatesville). After a pair of walks, Taylor doubled home one run and Kreamer followed with a two-run double. Junior right fielder
Zach Ellin (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) added an infield single off the pitcher and a ground out by Theckston plated the sixth run of the inning.
The beneficiary of the strong Raptor attack was senior righty
Ryan Sullivan (Livingston, NJ/Livingston), who hurled five-hit shutout ball over six innings. He walked one, struck out one and induced three double plays.
Rutgers-Camden junior righty
Zach Welsher (Audubon, NJ/Audubon) allowed three hits and two earned runs in the sixth inning, but the Scarlet Raptors got those runs back and more in the top of the seventh. Ellin walked and Theckston slammed his first home run of the season to left field, making it an 11-2 game. Junior left fielder
Joe Brooks (Blackwood, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) followed with a double and came all the way around to score on a wild pitch and a throwing error by the Spartans' catcher.
Kreamer drilled a two-run home run in the top of the eighth to cap his big day. He plated senior

Freshman southpaw
Steven Bloyed (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) made his collegiate debut in the seventh inning for the Scarlet Raptors, hurling a scoreless inning with two strikeouts, while allowing one hit. Senior
Alex Scarlett (Galloway, NJ/Holy Spirit) threw a perfect eighth inning, striking out. Junior
Daniel Reese (Blackwood, NJ/Highland), a transfer from Camden County College, made his Raptor debut with a perfect ninth inning, striking out one.
In addition to Kreamer, Theckston went 2-for-5 with a home run, one run and four RBIs, while Tenuto was 2-for-4 with two runs.
Rutgers-Camden travels south next week for spring break, where it will compete in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational in Winter Haven, Lakeland and Auburndale, Florida. The Scarlet Raptors' eight-game trip will include five games against teams currently ranked in the Top 11 of the
d3baseball.com Division III national poll, including the country's top two teams.
Rutgers-Camden faces No. 2 Wisconsin-La Crosse in its first game Sunday, at 12:30 p.m. in Auburndale. The next day it will meet top-ranked SUNY-Cortland at 3 p.m. in Winter Haven. Cortland defeated Wisconsin-La Crosse in last season's NCAA championship game. Later in the week, the Raptors play a doubleheader against #11 Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a single game against No. 7 Wisconsin-Whitewater, which was the 2014 national champion.
