Cam Allen (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington) collected a pair of assists off corner kicks to lead the Rutgers University-Camden men's soccer team over Swarthmore College, 2-1, in a non-conference game here Monday night.

After a scoreless first half, the Scarlet Raptors jumped on the board in the 51st minute on a goal by junior back
Brian Palangi (Deptford, NJ/Deptford). Allen's corner kick was finished by Palangi, who just snuck it over the goal line on a shot from the box. For Palangi, a transfer from Rowan College at Gloucester County, it was his first goal at Rutgers-Camden. It was the second assist of the season and his career for Allen.

Kevin Murphy (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven), who chest-trapped a feed from freshman forward
Julian Bueno (Harlem, NY/NYC iSchool) and tapped in the goal.
Rutgers-Camden answered almost immediately as Allen's corner kick was headed into the goal by junior back
Darnell Brown (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) only 1:35 later. Brown's fourth goal of the season also was his first career game winner.

Oliver Steinglass (Washington, DC/Washington International) played the first 60 minutes in goal, making all three Garnet saves and allowing one goal. Freshman
Christian Alfaro (Chicago, IL/Muchin College Prep) played the final 30 minutes, allowing one goal without a save.
Swarthmore held a 17-12 edge in shots, while Rutgers-Camden had a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action on Thursday when it plays a non-conference game at Lancaster Bible College, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
