DALLAS, Penn. (Sept. 18, 2018) – Senior
Cam Allen found the best way to help the Rutgers University-Camden soccer team snap its three-game losing streak.
Allen scored on a restart from just outside the box with 10:14 remaining in the game, breaking a 1-1 deadlock and lifting the Scarlet Raptors to a 2-1 non-conference win at Misericordia University Tuesday night.
The win lifts the Scarlet Raptors to 4-3-1, while the Cougars fall to 1-4-1.
A foul by Misericordia set up the Raptors' late opportunity. Allen,

Rutgers-Camden jumped on the board with 7:15 remaining in the first half on the first career goal by freshman
Sinan Tuzcu. He was sprung on a break by senior
Fatai King, and beat Misericordia keeper Dominic Pizzi with a low shot.
Misericordia tied the game in the 65th minute on a tally by Nick Szczerba, assisted by Vincenzo Diliberti.
Misericordia outshot Rutgers-Camden, 16-12, but the Scarlet Raptors held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks. Raptor sophomore goalie
Kieran Burns made five saves to earn the victory. Pizzi had four saves for the Cougars.
The Scarlet Raptors play another 7 p.m. non-conference road game on Thursday at Immaculata University.
