WILKES-BARRE, Penn. (Oct. 8, 2019) – The King's College men's soccer team scored one goal in each half and went on to blank Rutgers University-Camden, 2-0, here Tuesday night.
The Scarlet Raptors fall to 9-4-1 overall with their second loss in their last three games. The Monarchs improve to 9-3.
With 34:13 gone in the opening half, senior forward Aidan DeCamillo sent a pass to the left flank for freshman forward Justin Decoteau. The rookie hit a shot to the upper left corner for his second goal of the season. Both have been game winners.

King's finished with a 16-6 advantage in shots, including a 6-2 margin in shots on goal. Sophomore midfielder
Kaito Kitazawa (pictured above) had both Raptor shots on goal, forcing junior keeper Connor McKeown to make a pair of saves to earn his shutout. Raptor junior keeper
Kieran Burns had four saves.
The Monarchs had a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
Rutgers-Camden returns to action Saturday with a 7:30 p.m. New Jersey Athletic Conference game at Rutgers-Newark.
