GALLOWAY, N.J. (April 26, 2021) – When the Rutgers University-Camden lacrosse team closed its regular-season schedule here Saturday, the Scarlet Raptors dropped a 20-1 decision against Stockton University.
The venue and the result were the same here Monday when fifth-seeded Rutgers-Camden visited fourth-seeded Stockton for the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs. The Ospreys scored the game's first 12 goals and went on to eliminate the Scarlet Raptors from their first-ever NJAC playoff game, 15-1.
The Ospreys (2-4) advance to Wednesday's 7 p.m. semifinal game at top-seeded Montclair State University. The Scarlet Raptors close their season with a 0-5 record.
In Wednesday's other semifinal, #3 Rowan University visits #2 The College of New Jersey for a 4 p.m. game.
Junior midfielder Michelle Pascrell, who notched four goals and two assists in Stockton's win against the Scarlet Raptors on Saturday, got the Ospreys going with their first goal 1:02 into the game. Twelve seconds later, freshman attack Lucy Sullivan scored for the Ospreys.
By halftime, Stockton held a 10-0 lead and a 21-5 advantage in shots. Sullivan and sophomore attack Holly Yannacone collected three goals and one assist apiece in the opening half. Freshman attack Nikki Owen had two goals and Pascrell notched one goal and one assist.

Gina Bellon made eight first-half saves for Rutgers-Camden and senior goalie
Brittany Watson made two saves in the second half. Watson finished her Scarlet Raptor career with program records for shots faced (1,085) and saves (328).

Isabella Tamburrino scored a goal with 20:37 remaining in the game to break the Ospreys' shutout bid. She finished her freshman season with three goals, second on the team to junior midfielder
Claire Gailliout, who had four goals and one assist for a team-high five points. Tamburrino and Gailliout both notched one caused turnover, while Tamburrino led the team with four draw controls.

For Stockton, Sullivan, Yannacone, Owen and junior attack Allie Bremer each finished with three goals. Sullivan added two assists to notch a game-high five points.
