CAMDEN, N.J. (Oct. 7, 2022) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis team posted its first win of the season here Friday as it swept past Cabrini University, 9-0, in a non-conference match.
The victory lifts the Scarlet Raptors to 1-2, while the Cavaliers fall to 0-2.

Sarah Ahrens posted a 6-1, 6-1 victory at first singles to raise her singles record to 3-0 this season. Junior
Samantha Hoban notched a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at second singles, while freshman
Katie Moore won her third singles match, 6-0, 6-2. Senior
Laurel DiStefano earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at four singles and freshman
Ashton Sirko captured her first collegiate singles victory with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at the fifth spot. Graduate student
Rhea Kuthoore won by default at sixth singles when Cabrini didn't have a player.
The combination of Ahrens and Hoban posted an 8-0 victory in the first doubles spot, while Moore and DiStefano notched an 8-3 victory at second doubles. Sirko and Kuthoore won by default at third doubles.
The Scarlet Raptors return to action Saturday with an 11 a.m. makeup match at Moravian University.
