CAMDEN, N.J. (Oct. 14, 2024) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis team completed a busy Columbus Day weekend here Monday as it defeated Lehman College, 6-1, in a non-conference match.
Rutgers-Camden, which improves to 5-3, started the weekend with a 4-3 home victory over Stockton on Friday before losing a 6-1 match at York College of Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Lehman falls to 3-7.

Katie Moore posted a 6-4 win. The Scarlet Raptors won second doubles by a 7-6 (7-3) score with the team of senior
Jayde Sue Silva and sophomore
Bella Martinez, while junior
Bryn Kelleher and freshman
Emma D'Amico earned a 6-0 win at third doubles.
Jaugan won at first singles (0-6, 4-2, retired) and Moore posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles. Silva was trailing, 8-7, at third singles when she was forced to retire. Junior co-captain
Ashton Sirko and Kelleher both earned 6-0, 6-0 wins at fourth and fifth singles, respectively, while D'Amico posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at sixth singles.
Rutgers-Camden will close the fall semester portion of its schedule on Saturday with an 11 a.m. match at Eastern University.
