The Scarlet Raptors improved to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the NJAC, while Ramapo falls to 1-8 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

The Raptors' win snapped a six-game Ramapo winning streak in the all-time series and was Rutgers-Camden's first victory over the Roadrunners since Feb. 12, 2020 (64-55 in Mahwah). Rutgers-Camden leads the all-time series, 43-28.

The Scarlet Raptors trailed only once, after the Roadrunners scored the first field goal of the game, but quickly tied the game at 2-2 on a jumper by freshman guard
Hope Goodwine. Rutgers-Camden took the lead for good on a layup by senior guard
Rahzirah Blocker and opened up leads of 13-7 after one quarter and 31-20 at halftime. The Raptors led by as many as 18 points, 52-34, in the fourth quarter.

Na'Caia Jackson led the Raptors with nine points, while Goodwine and freshman forward
Courtney Edmundo both notched eight points. A pair of guard/forwards, junior

Edmundo grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds to help Rutgers-Camden hold a 50-28 advantage off the boards.

Freshman guard Jocelyn Huancaya scored a game-high 14 points for Ramapo.

Rutgers-Camden shot 19-for-54 (35.2 percent) from the floor, while Ramapo went 14-for-53 (26.4). The Scarlet Raptors were 11-for-17 (64.7) from the foul line and the Roadrunners were 14-for-22 (63.6).
