Raptors compete on first day at Ursinus Track & Field Festival

COLLEGEVILLE, Penn. (April 5, 2024) – Freshman Kaitlyn Novak finished eighth of 25 in the shot put (9.21 meters) as the Rutgers University-Camden track teams competed on the first day of the Ursinus College Track and Field Festival here Friday.
 
Junior Francis Hill finished 13th in the shot put (8.48 meters) for the Rutgers-Camden women.
 
On the men's side, freshman Dyheim Watson finished seventh of 27 in the shot put (10.89 meters) and junior Amir Lindor was 10th (10.71 meters). Watson also finished 18th of 27 in the men's discus (25.98 meters), while Lindor was 21st (23.28 meters).
 
Sophomore Brandon Butts placed 12th of 26 in the long jump (5.82 meters), while freshman Keion Elliott placed seventh of 10 in the men's high jump (1.75 meters).
 
The Scarlet Raptors return to action on Saturday for the second day of the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival.
