Katie Moore broke a tie for the second-highest total victories in program history and the Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis defeated Lehman College, 7-0, here Friday afternoon in its final match of the fall season.
The Scarlet Raptors ended the fall semester with a 7-3 record, while Lehman stands at 3-6.
Moore hiked her combined win total to 68, breaking the tie for second place with Tiffany Trivers (2018-22) and placing her behind only the 78 combined wins by Amanda Hickman (2012-16) in program history. Moore, who entered the day tied at 66 total wins with Trivers, teamed with freshman
Leila O'Brien for a 6-1 win at third doubles and captured a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fifth singles.
The Raptors also posted wins at first doubles, 6-1 behind freshmen twin sisters
Gabby Albert and
Bella Albert, and a 6-0 win at second doubles behind sophomores
Grace Albert and
Jilliane Jaugan.
Gabby Albert earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles, while Jaugan posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory at second singles.
Grace Albert won her match at third singles, 6-1, 6-1, and
Bella Albert captured a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fourth singles. O'Brien completed the Raptors' sweep in singles with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the sixth flight.
The women return to action in the spring semester. Their next scheduled match is March 29 at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
