WILKES-BARRE, Penn. (March 29, 2026) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its schedule here on Sunday, blanking King's College, 7-0.
The win raised the Raptors' record to 8-3 this scholastic year, while King's fell to 0-6.
The Scarlet Raptors won the lone point for doubles by sweeping all three doubles matches. In the top spot, Freshman sisters
Gabby Albert and
Bella Albert combined for a 6-0 win. Sophomores
Jillian Jaugan and
Grace Albert recorded a 6-2 win at second doubles, while senior
Katie Moore and freshman
Leila O'Brien won by forfeit at the sixth spot when King's couldn't field a team.
Gabby Albert won at first singles (6-3, 6-2), Jaugan won at the second flight (6-0, 6-0) and
Grace Albert posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the third spot.
Bella Albert won her match at fourth singles (6-0, 6-1), Moore posted a win at fifth singles (6-0, 6-0) and O'Brien won by forfeit at the sixth spot.
The Scarlet Raptors' next match is April 10, when they host William Paterson University at 4 p.m. in their New Jersey Athletic Conference opener.
