CAMDEN, N.J. (Nov. 4, 2025) – Four members of the Rutgers University-Camden men's soccer team were honored Tuesday when the New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its 2025 All-NJAC Men's Soccer Team.
 
Senior back Eric Swen (Monrovia, Liberia/Highland Regional) and senior midfielder Brandon Valeri (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown)were named to the NJAC First Team, sophomore forward Dylan Pino (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) earned recognition on the NJAC Second Team and sophomore forward Nik Grello (Delran, NJ/Delran) was named NJAC Honorable Mention.

For Swen, the NJAC First Team honor caps a brilliant four-year career that saw him earn all-conference recognition every year, including three First Team awards. Valeri earned his second straight All-NJAC honor, while Pino and Grello were recognized on the all-conference team for the first time.
 
Swen captured his third straight NJAC First Team honor after earning NJAC Second Team recognition as a freshman. He also was named the NJAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
 
A two-time United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV Second Team honoree, Swen served as one of the Scarlet Raptors' four team captains in 2024.
 
Swen started all of his 15 games this season and started 75 of his 77 career games at Rutgers-Camden. He played a major role in 29 Rutgers-Camden shutouts over his career, while also adding nine goals (three game winners) for 18 points. This season he had three goals for six points.
 
A Dean's List student as well, the Computer Science major has earned NJAC Academic Honorable Mention and is a four-time member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director's Honor Roll. During the 2023 fall semester, he was one of only 22 athletes on the 151-member AD Honor Roll to earn a 4.0 GPA.
 
Valeri served as one of the Scarlet Raptors' four captains during both the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The center midfield cog that sparks the Scarlet Raptors, he started all 19 Rutgers-Camden games this season, tying Grello for the team lead with five goals and four assists for 14 points. Two of his goals were game winners, coming in the season opener against St. John Fisher (4-0, Aug. 29) and against Ramapo (4-1, Sept. 27).
 
Valeri earned NJAC Second Team honors in 2024 and over the course of his career he played in 76 games, starting 54, and producing six goals and five assists for 17 points. He has three game-winning goals in his career.
 
A Dean's List student, Valeri is a Health Sciences major with minors in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy. He is a four-time member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director's Honor Roll and a two-time NJAC Academic Honorable Mention student.
 
Pino earned his first All-NJAC honor after a fine sophomore season in which he started 18 games and finished third on the team in scoring with four goals and four assists for 12 points. His four assists tied Grello and Valeri for the team lead. One of his goals was the game winner in a 2-1 victory over Rutgers-Newark on Oct. 1.
 
Over his two-year Rutgers-Camden career, Pino has appeared in 38 games, starting 26 and producing four goals and five assists for 13 career points.
 
A Business major, Pino has been a Dean's List student and member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director's Honor Roll during both of his two full semesters on campus.
 
Grello started all 19 Rutgers-Camden games this season and tied Valeri for the team scoring lead with five goals and four assists for 14 points. He also tied Valeri for the team lead with two game-winning goals, with those tallies coming in wins over Arcadia (1-0, Sept. 9) and Rowan (4-3, Oct. 4).
 
Over his two-year career, Grello has appeared in 30 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 23, with all of his career points coming this season.
 
A Dean's List student as a Finance major, Grello was a member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director's Honor Roll during both of his semesters as a freshman.
