Dinerman, Marshall set program records at FastTrack meet
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Feb. 7, 2025) – Rutgers University-Camden junior
Jacob Dinerman broke the program's indoor track record in the men's mile run and sophomore
Sydnie Marshall broke the women's 200-meter mark as several members of the Scarlet Raptors competed at the FastTrack National Invitational here Friday.
The meet was held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Dinerman ran the mile in 4:10.92 to finish 16th out of 90 athletes, including numerous Division I and club team runners. He broke the Rutgers-Camden indoor mark of 4:12.90 set by Frank Iwanicki on March 5, 2010, at the IC4A Championships.
Marshall finished 38th out of 79 in the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.20, breaking the old mark of 27.40 set by Catherine Fiore on Dec. 6, 2014 at the Bow-Tie Track Classic.
Sophomore
Robert Bayard finished 38th of 61 in the Open Men's 60-meter dash (7.34) and placed 54th of 105 athletes in the 200-meter dash (23.27).
In the 119-athlete field of the men's 400-meter dash, freshmen
Kristopher Ewell and
Antonio Busbee both set a PR while finishing 28th (50.62) and 98th (53.81), respectively.
Freshman
Deontae Wilson and senior
Francis Hill competed in the 45-athlete field of the women's shot put. Wilson finished 28th (9.98 meters), while Hill placed 39th (8.74 meters).
Rutgers-Camden will compete in the Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday at Ursinus College.
