ABINGTON, Penn. (Sept. 27, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's tennis team swept almost every match as it defeated Penn State-Abington, 7-0, here Saturday to raise its record to 5-0.
It was the opening match of the season for the Nittany Lions.
The Raptors' three doubles teams all posted 6-0 wins, with freshman twin sisters
Gabby Albert and
Bella Albert at the top spot, sophomores
Grace Albert and
Jilliane Jaugan playing second doubles and senior
Katie Moore teaming with freshman
Leila O'Brien at the third flight.
The Scarlet Raptors posted 6-0, 6-0 wins at first singles (
Gabby Albert), second singles (Jaugan), third singles (
Grace Albert), fifth singles (Moore) and sixth singles (O'Brien).
Bella Albert captured a 6-1, 6-0 victory at fourth singles.
The women host Bryn Mawr College Friday at 4 p.m.
