Scarlet Raptors fall short in NJAC Match

EWING, NJ (Sept. 22, 2013) – The College of New Jersey women's tennis program won their 154th straight New Jersey Athletic Conference match today over Rutgers-Camden. The lions beat the Scarlet Raptors 8-0.



The College of New Jersey took all three doubles matches over Rutgers-Camden. Amanda Hickman (Millville, NJ/Millville) and Jordan Crawley (Sicklerville, NJ/Timber Creek) lost 8-0 in the first spot. In the second spot, Avery Forte (Pitman, NJ/Pitman) and Kelly Bates (Pitman, NJ/Pitman) lost 8-0. Christine Abacan (Collingswood, NJ/Collingswood) and Amy Tung (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill) lost to their opponents 8-0 in third doubles. The Lions won all six singles matches.



Rutgers-Camden (5-5, NJAC 1-2) will travel to Cairn University on Wednesday, Sept. 25th.
