CAMDEN, NJ - The Rutgers-Camden women's tennis team lost the season opener to Neumann University, 4-5. 
    
        
Amanda Hickman and Angela Errigo won 8-1 in the first spot.  Kelsey Mercer and Theresa Adamson came up short 8-2 as the No. 2 duo. At third doubles, Christine Abacan and Donna Safar lost 8-2.


In singles action, Rutgers-Camden won three matches over the Knights.   Amanda Hickman won 6-0, 6-3 in the first spot.  At the No. 2 spot, Angela Errigo won 6-1, 6-0. Kelsey Mercer won 6-2, 6-0 in the third spot.  In the fourth spot, Theresa Adamson lost 6-2, 6-1. Christine Abacan lost 6-2, 6-4 in the fifth spot.  Donna Safar lost 6-0, 6-0 in the sixth spot.


Rutgers-Camden (0-1, NJAC 0-0) will host Cairn University on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 12pm.
