CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 11, 2015) – With the weather forecast for afternoon thunderstorms on Saturday, the schedule for the 15th annual Cialella Soccer Classic at Rutgers University-Camden has been altered.
Originally scheduled for soccer games starting at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., the Scarlet Raptors on Friday moved up Saturday's action. The first game, between Christopher Newport University and New Jersey City University, will now begin at 10 a.m. It will be followed by a game between Rutgers-Camden and Manhattanville College, which will start as close to 12 p.m. as possible.
Christopher Newport, at 4-0, is the top-ranked Division III team in the nation in this week's
D3soccer.com poll. NJCU owns a 1-2 record. Both Rutgers-Camden and Manhattanville are 2-1, with their lone loss coming against a nationally-ranked team.
