CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 19, 2019) – The Rutgers University- Camden volleyball team evened its record at 5-5 as it swept past Rosemont College, 25-14, 25-11 and 25-14, in a non-conference match here Thursday night.
Senior
Morgan Mulligan collected a match-high 11 kills, hit .588 and added five digs for the Scarlet Raptors, while her twin sister, senior
Jamie Mulligan, also had five digs and notched four kills and one service ace.
Sophomores
Kayla Benesz and
Brinn Hassan set up the Raptors' attack with 15 and 10 assists, respectively. Hassam added four digs and four service aces for the Scarlet Raptors, who notched 16 aces as a team. Benesz and sophomores
Devyn Cobb and
Haley Novak added three aces apiece, while sophomore
Morgan Fox delivered two aces, three assists and a match-high 10 digs. Cobb also collected seven kills, while senior
Jordan Erskine added four.
Abigail Brooks had five kills for the Ravens, who fall to 1-8. Alyssa Springer collected 11 assists, two aces and six digs for Rosemont.
The Scarlet Raptors host a tri-match Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. Rutgers-Camden plays Clarks Summit University at 11 a.m. and Wilkes University at 3 p.m. Those two teams will play each other at 1 p.m.
