WILLINGBORO, N.J. (October 25, 2021) – The Rutgers University-Camden golf team closed out the fall semester portion of its schedule here Monday, finishing fourth out of eight teams at the annual RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational.
The event was held at the Par 71, 6,602-yard Rancocas Golf Club, the home court of the Scarlet Raptors.
Penn State-Harrisburg won the event with a 328 team score, five strokes ahead of Rosemont College. Penn College finished third (345), two strokes ahead of Rutgers-Camden's 347.
Jack Maloney of William Paterson University was the individual medalist, carding a 4-over par 75. He finished three strokes ahead of Penn State-Abington's Nick DeGirolamo.

Max Strout shot an 82 to tie for sixth place, while junior
Patrick DeMareo carded an 83 to tie for 11th place in the field of 42 golfers. Junior
Lucas Kunkel tied for 13th with a round of 84, while junior
David Gibson shot a 98 to tie for 32nd.

Zaki Zahid Maqbool rounded out the Raptors' five-man team, carding a 108 to finish 35th. Newcomer
Carter Garbowski, making his Rutgers-Camden golf debut, shot a 133, playing as an individual.
Rutgers-Camden will resume its split golf season in the spring, when it also will host the United East Tournament.
