MONTCLAIR, N.J. (Oct. 17, 2023) – The Montclair State University volleyball team received 16 kills apiece from junior outside hitters Skye Ramsey and Rachel Curran as it swept past Rutgers University-Camden, 3-0, in New Jersey Athletic Conference action here Tuesday night.
The Red Hawks won by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-23 for their fourth consecutive victory.
Montclair improves to 12-11 overall and 2-4 in the NJAC, while Rutgers-Camden falls to 11-9 and 3-3.
Junior libero/defensive specialist Katie Rodman notched 15 digs for the Red Hawks, while sophomore setter Emily Carcich had 35 assists and eight digs.
Rutgers-Camden received 13 kills from junior middle blocker/right side
Kaliyah Moss, who hit .500, notched two aces, five digs and one solo block. Senior outside hitter/right side
Erica Nebrich collected eight kills and 11 digs, while senior middle hitter/outside hitter
Isabella Choice notched seven kills and senior outside hitter
Dyamond Free added six kills.

JoAnna Andrews paced the Scarlet Raptors with 16 assists, while adding two aces and two digs. Sophomore setter
Avery Ang had 11 assists and one dig.

Rutgers-Camden returns to action Thursday when they host Kean University in a 7 p.m. match.
