CAMDEN, NJ (Jan. 29, 2025) – The Rowan University women's basketball team outscored Rutgers University-Camden, 35-12, in the second half here Wednesday as the Profs went on to post a 75-41 victory in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game.
The victory lifts the Profs to 12-7 overall and 8-4 in the NJAC, while Rutgers-Camden falls to 8-11 overall and 4-8 in the conference.
Rowan has won 12 straight games against Rutgers-Camden and leads the all-time series, 64-17.
After Rowan scored the first six points of the game, Rutgers-Camden scored the next eight points on a layup by senior guard

Hope Goodwine. Rowan, however, scored the next seven points on the way to a 20-13 lead after one quarter. The Profs led, 40-29 at halftime before holding the Scarlet Raptors to only six points in both the third and fourth quarters.
Senior guard Kate Herlihy paced the Profs with 18 points, while senior guard Sabrina Araujo added 14.
Goodwine paced the Scarlet Raptors with eight points, while freshman forward
Courtney Edmundo collected seven points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
Rowan shot 23-for-57 from the floor (40.4 percent), while Rutgers-Camden shot 15-for-59 (25.4). The Profs went 23-for-28 (82.1) from the foul line, while the Scarlet Raptors were 7-for-14 (50.0).
Rowan held a 45-39 advantage off the boards and forced 24 Rutgers-Camden turnovers.
Rutgers-Camden returns to NJAC action on Saturday with a 3 p.m. game at Montclair State University.
